Fun Facts

I am a proud Bay Area native and will forever call Berkeley my home.

I am, depending on the day, either a Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

I wrote my honors thesis about Pride and Prejudice, but my favorite Austen adaption is not the 1995 BBC mini-series; it is the 2005 film adaptation with Keira Knightley.

I have a second stomach for dessert. My dessert flavor preferences are marzipan and black sesame.

I had to bargain with my parents to let me take violin lessons in the 2nd grade. Then I went on to play violin for the next 14 years.

I picked up British colloquialisms from watching interviews of One Direction back in 2012-2013. One sticks with me to this day.

I began baking in elementary school with my mom and once misread 2/3 cup water as 3 2/3 cups when making pumpkin bread. Now I bake (and read recipes correctly) to destress.

I chose to dance bachata because it allowed me to to rebel against my fused spine.

I began kickboxing in summer of 2019 because boxing had been the trendy workout at the time. It’s still my favorite workout.
