I wanted no more than to be in bed.
I wanted some new music from my friends.
I spoke of love and felt so pleased.
And I faced some troubles with my muse.

Many memories were made with friends:
unexpected arts and crafts,
the best fine dining that we could get,
and finding Christmas with dental floss.

I spent all day in one room
bundled tight in sweaters and coats.
I received the news just before seven.
